Everyone loves a new shiny car. The new car smell and the sparkling paint gets everybody's attention and makes you the envy of all your friends.
Well, if you are in the market for a new car, then there are certain times of the year when you can get the best deal. The absolute best deals come at the end of the calendar year. Especially two certain days, the day after Thanksgiving, known as Black Friday, and the day after Christmas. Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends are also very good times to get some great deals.
The next thing to know is that at the end of the model year, which is usually September or October, you can get good deals on the current year models. This is because the dealers are trying to clear their lots to make room for the incoming new years models. When you do this though, make sure they have not changed to much on the new model. You do not want to wish you had gotten all the new upgrades that the new model has. If it is just little stuff, then you can probably get some good discounts on the current year models still on the lot.
The third time for the best deals on new cars is at the end of the month. Dealers get incentives for selling so many of a certain type of car each month. So they are really willing to work out a deal with you and negotiate a little more.
No matter which car you are looking at, always research it and make sure you can get the best deal for the options you want. Don't settle for something you do not want and will not be happy with.
